Product Manager
Overview
Stathletes is revolutionizing professional hockey data and analytics for the world’s premier leagues, teams, players, agents, media, sportsbooks and digital platforms. And we're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team! As a key member you will take ownership of product strategy and development for our software suite that services our internal teams, sports clubs, media and the world's premier hockey leagues.
The Role
As a Product Manager you'll drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our data analytics products and platforms. Working closely with our CTO, engineering, data, and client success teams, you will drive delivery, prioritize features, and ensure we're building solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients. You will gather insights from teams, leagues, and media partners to identify opportunities, define requirements, and guide the development of products that make real and meaningful contributions to the world of data in professional sports. You will have significant influence over our product direction and technology choices as we scale to deliver cutting-edge features and insights in our next phase of growth.
This role also provides an exciting opportunity to shape products that integrate cutting-edge AI and machine learning, being part of a team that is defining how the world creates and consumes sports data.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience managing B2B software products through their entire lifecycle
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories
- Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience conducting user research, gathering feedback, and iterating on solutions
- Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies
- Understanding of technical concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers
- A solid foundation in product thinking, with strong competencies in prioritization, trade-offs, and strategic planning
- A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and measurable business outcomes
- Experience with analytics products or data platforms (this is a nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics (this is a nice-to-have)
- Experience with AI/ML products or features (this is a nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of sports analytics or related domains (this is a nice-to-have)
- A love of hockey, and/or a passion for delivering data products
